Sports training will often focus on the technique and tactics involved in a chosen event, with physical development often overlooked.
This is why we have set up these classes. We want children to experience all the movements and actions involved with different sports.
Our weekly sessions therefore will consist of children experiencing the 5 athletic disciplines often associated with Olympic and Sporting Success (running, throwing, jumping, balance and agility) through a diverse range of exercises and activities. Achievement in these disciplines will ultimately lead to a higher level of body coordination and therefore greater success in sport.
Children will then be exposed to some physical challenges and tests (optional), where there will be the opportunity to earn some exciting awards.
Finally, the children will experience various types of sporting equipment to help them discover which sport they prefer and excel in.
All of our sessions take place in a fun, friendly and energetic environment.
